Summer Pictures

I haven't been very good at updating the blog...I was on a bit of a bloggers strike a.k.a I'm too lazy to update my blog. But here are some pictures of the fun things we have done this summer

This is Carter and his future wife, Bridget, just hanging out at the pool. We have passes to the North Park Pool so we have gone almost every week.

I'm not really sure what Carter is doing, but it looked funny. He is now 7 months old!!

This was taken on Mike's 1st father's day. Me and Carter made him a delicious dinner: steak and crab legs!

Mike was so sweet and surprised me with tickets to go see Jon Schmidt. Such a good concert and it was the first time i had ever been. And I also have to say thanks to our good friends Eric and Allison who were in on the surprise and babysat little Carter for us while we went.

I didn't get any pictures of the 4th of July but we had a really fun time with friends and family. We had a BBQ at the park the Allison made this delicious dessert.

And of course, Andrew is on his mission now. It will be interesting to see how much both Andrew and Carter will change in the next 2 years.

Missionary Man!

Just look at that face! Little Andrew is all grown up! We took him to the MTC last week and I'll be honest, it was a little hard on me. At least they do things different at the MTC now days so they don't have you watch the heart wrenching video, not that it made it any easier but the good bye was short and sweet. I'm so excited for Andrew and the experiences that await him in South Carolina!!

Carter Meets Green Beans

This is Carter's first encounter with green beans! Do you think he's a fan? I gave it one more try the next day and then switched to sweet potatoes, he liked those a little more. He still isn't so sure about grown up food but I'm sure he'll come around!

Julie's twins

For anyone who is wondering, Julie had her twin boys on May 8th!
Luke and Zach
My mom's blog has some great pictures of the healthy babies. All I can say is way to go Julie! She carried them almost full term and took them home 2 days later, what a blessing!

All of a sudden Carter decided he wanted to start rolling over. And I'm not so sure I would call this a roll, more like a fall over. Sooo cute. And don't pay any attention to my voice in the background. I've got my baby talk going on and I sound like an idiot.

Carter's Blessing

What a great weekend! Carter was finally blessed! I say finally because he's already 4 months old and he just barely got blessed. Both sets of Grandparents wanted to be there so we had to wait until last weekend in order for that to happen. But it was worth the wait. It was so special to have everyone there and Mike gave Carter the sweetest blessing. He is such a calm little boy (when he's not crying) and such a blessing to our family! Just as a little update, he weighs 17 pounds 4 ounces, which is the 90-95%. And he has a bigger head than 97% of the kids his age. Ha ha!! I LOVE it! He's growing fast...almost too fast for my liking. He's at a cute age and I don't really want him to change. But we are so lucky to have him. We love you Carter!

Our poor car

Here's the story: We went to the T-mobile store to get a new phone and apparently a FedEx truck parked right next to us (we didn't see it happen). As he was leaving he forgot that our car was there and banged right into us!!! I felt bad for the guy, he was pretty young and was shaking so bad when he came to talk to us. $2,000 worth of damage and we are driving a rental for a week! I blame the new license plate. Our Colorado license plate would have protected us!
