I know you are supposed to wait till Thanksgiving is over to decorate for Christmas but I'm bored at work and have been doing a little Christmas shopping so it's on my mind and I CAN'T WAIT!!! I was in Guatemala this time last year so I missed out on all the holiday cheer, therefore I am making up for it by taking it overboard this year!! So....in honor of the Christmas season that is creeping up on us, I have temporarily changed the colors of our blog. Plus I added this cute website to the North Pole, it tracks Santa and there are millions of recipes....you guys all need to check it out!! Especially if you have kids!

Crack Kills
So....yesterday Mike was taking a little shower and all of a sudden the spout thing, where the water comes out to fill the tub, popped off. He tried to fix it but we needed a new spout. So he called the maintenance guy and he came over to fix our shower. He was really nice and he did a great job and he was really fast...but...(no pun intended) he did give us a little show and I couldn't resist taking a picture of him!!! ha ha ha...

Pumpkin Carving Adventure
I think it's been about 4 years since I last carved a pumpkin! It was so fun, we had our good friends Jake and Mekelle over and we carved pumpkins and then watched a scary movie that turned out to be pretty lame...as most scary movies do. We bought it at Walmart on thier $5 shelf and then when we got home we realized that it was about 5 hours long!!! But despite the lame movie, we still had fun carving and stuffing our faces with snikers! yummm....

Fall/Winter...I guess it's all the same now days....

I think we can all agree that fall was pretty much non-existent this year. Me and Mike went up to the mountains and took some pretty pictures! It's funny that the moutains have snow on them yet the trees are a beautiful red/orange/yellow color. It was really nice to get up there and see the fall colors and the snow was actually a nice touch!

Our Wedding

On August 18th me and Mike were sealed in the Manti temple. It was such a perfect day! All of our family was there plus all of our very best friends. We were married in the spiral staircase room...it was so beautiful!! The whole morning it was raining and about five minutes before we came out it cleared up and we got some beautiful pictures!
We had a really good photographer named Heidi, she did such an awesome job on our photos! She even came out to Denver and took some cool shots of us around Denver.
In Denver we took pics at red rocks amphitheater and at the Federal building in downtown Denver. At the Federal bulding the police made us stop taking pictures. They actually thought we were models doing a photo shoot!! They were a little nicer to us once we told them that we weren't and that it was our acutal wedding day. Pretty funny though...

I give in....
Ok...so this blogging stuff isn't too bad. And after realizing that everyone else in the whole world has a blog, I finally gave in. So here I am. I don't know how good I will be at updating it but since I'm not in school and all Mike does is homework, I guess I can find time to keep it updated.
